Sharon Landrith is a spiritual teacher in the lineage of Adyashanti and a gifted intuitive. She describes a devotion and great love of the Truth. In her words: "There is a way to freedom from internal suffering. Awake beings across the ages have discovered this truth. My life is in service to that."
She met Adyashanti at a conference in 2000. Three years later, following a series of awakenings to fundamental reality, he asked her to teach and to guide those genuinely drawn to the path of truth. Since then she has continued to deepen into this truth and embody it herself. Sharon was born in 1947 in a small town in Kansas. She was raised in the Christian tradition and was formerly a student of Jean Klein. Her interest in Spirit led her to Buddhist meditation and the non-dual path. She and her husband, Nate, have dedicated their lives to Adyashanti's teaching and to the realization it opened. She is one of the twelve women spiritual teachers featured in Rita Marie Robinson's book Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Wisdom.
Her teaching grows from a deep realization of silence and the way silence expresses itself in form. She emphasizes how silence wakes up in the body and how embodiment unfolds, including the awareness of Source in the cells of the body. Her many years as an intuitive counselor, and her ability to "read" the physical and energetic body, help her unlock patterns that inhibit realization and the embodiment that follows. She offers support for the shift of identity that is direct and tailored to each person's journey, and she invites people to "come home… to that which you've always been."
Sharon teaches with Clear Light Sangha through satsang, dokusan and silent meditation retreats. Retreats include guided meditation, transmission, and question and answer sessions. The sharing of poetry, writing, music and visual arts is also part of them.
