Marion Schwarzat

Marion Schwarzat is a yoga teacher and trainer of yoga teachers. She describes herself as "Yogalehrerin. Ausbilderin. Und ein Mensch auf dem Weg." Yoga, she says, found her rather than the other way around: first as a balance, then as an anchor, and eventually as a way of standing in life. Her own practice has accompanied her for more than 20 years, and she has been guiding others for more than 15.

She works with people in Hamburg and online who are looking for depth in their yoga practice, in their training, and in life. Her offering includes yoga teacher training, further education courses, mindfulness and meditation, and mentoring. Her approach is about presence in teaching, authentic leadership and practical tools. She puts honesty before perfection and wants to create spaces where people can show up as they are, at their own pace and without pressure to perform.

Marion is the founder of Urban Yoga Hamburg and works as a studio director. She is also a mother and grandmother, and she still thinks of herself as a student of life. She writes the blog "Gedankensachen", with texts on yoga, mindfulness and self-compassion. She also hosts the podcast "Nur die Ruhe", which offers meditations and mindfulness reflections for more calm in everyday life.
